Welcome to the New Pond
Hello, darling Invisible Friends! Welcome to the new and improved Pond!
The fabulous Gisele created this fabulous new design for me! What do you think? Gorgeous, isn’t it? The woman is amazing. She took my incoherent babbling and frantic questions and turned the Pond into this.
Why did I move? Let me count the ways:
Published Works
- For those of you who have ever wondered what I’ve written, what I’m writing and when you can finally read Twirl in a book form, now you know!
Cooking
- All my random, unsophisticated recipes in one place. If you’re in the mood for barbecue, Mexican, waffles and pie, you’ve come to the right place. If you enjoy elegant dishes with exotic names….I’ve got pie. That’s all I can give.
In a few days, I’ll have some of my older recipes up here for you to peruse. Stay tuned!
Services
- The favorite part of writing a blog for me is knowing my writing makes my Invisible Friends happy. If I can help you in any way with my skills with the written word, I will happily do so. And I work cheap. I’ll even work for pie and bacon cheeseburgers!
Never Ending Stories
- Now you can catch up on all your favorite stories in one place! The Gift, Twirl, Miss Pickles, Kitchen Magic–all my stories will be in one place for you to read, with a series of links. No more pesky archive digging–you can just bounce from link to link! This may take a few days to get them all up, so please bear with me. I do have to stop for dance breaks.
Features
- Through this blog, I’ve met dozens of fabulous creative women. I’m still amazed at how ya’ll can wrangle kids, stay married, work full-time jobs and create fabulous dishes or run Etsy shops. And once a week, I’m going to feature one of these fabulous women on my blog. I’ll also probably throw other random stories here, just for fun. If you want to nominate anyone or think you deserve a week here at the Pond, just contact me!
All and all, I’m loving my new Pond. I hope you enjoy it too. I think you’ll find it’s a lot more organized and easy to navigate. It may take me a week or two to get all the content up and tweak all the last minute details, like old links and such, but within a few weeks everything will be as good as pie.
Speaking of pie…
To celebrate the new look of the Pond, we’re having Pie Week! As of February 22, every inch of the Pond will be covered with pies. Mini pies, pecan pies, peanut butter pies, puppy pies–it’ll be all pie, all the time! If you have a pie you want featured or an idea for pie week, such as an ode to pies and how I love thee, leave me a comment or use my nifty new contact form! It goes straight to my e-mail!
