8 things

Posted on April 19th, 2009 in Stories

Sara from the Breathing Post tagged me with the 8 tag earlier this week.  I know you’re supposed to do 8 lists of 8 things, but the Pond has its own set of rules.  So I give you…8 things you didn’t know about the Blond Duck.

1) There are toilet seat covers hanging in my closet.  Would you like to hear the story?  Another time, perhaps.

2)  We have a thing for fat little birds.  They’re all over the house. I even give fat little birds to my mother-in-law and her best friend.  We just all have a thing for them.

3) In fact, we have random critters all over the house in general.  If you listen closely, they talk to you.

4) I can’t wear high heels.  I always wobble and wiggle and end up breaking something.

5) I adore twirling in aprons.

6) There’s a hummingbird that comes to our window every morning at the same time.  He sits on our feeder and gobbles down his nectar.  I like to think we’re having breakfast together.

7) I dump ketchup on most of my vegetables.  I have no idea why.  I just like it.

8) I’ve never had pie for breakfast, but I’ve always wanted to.

If you want to play, post this on your own blog!

Stay tuned, Invisible Friends!   We have a week of whimsical fun coming up!  There’s a new Gift tomorrow and a fun tale about the Pond Tuesday!  Then we’ve got a new Penelope’s Pie Shop, a classic recipe and an ode to Peanut Butter and a new Twirl!  Stay Tuned!
