Easter Craft: The Egg-bin
As you no doubt have figured out, when it comes to crafts, I’m all about cheap, fun and easy. I’m a low maintenance kind of gal. I want something that takes a short time to do and makes me giggle every time I look at it.
At the ladies’ gym I go to, they love holidays. Every occasion is a reason for celebration. For Easter, they had glorious ribbons hanging from the ceiling in doorways strung with colorful eggs.

So I recreated it.

I call it an egg-bin–a combination of a string of eggs and ribbons. It goes along nicely with the Bag-skets, don’t you think?

Unlike the ladies at the gym, I am not an expert at ribbon curling. My fumbling efforts simply sliced all the ribbons into slivers and the eggs slid off of them and refused to get back on until I gave them a decent ribbon to adorn. And besides, when you have hot pink ribbon, do you really want to cut it into slivers?

You can string your egg-bins anywhere! They’re adorable over door handles…

Dangle it over dining room tables…

Drape it over necks of fuzzy chickens…

decorate your hutch…

Or make your Chihuahua wear it as a necklace.
Until he tries to eat the eggs because he thinks there’s treats in them.

The Easter Bunny gives it two fuzzy paws up.

Even Easter bunnies need ribbons decorated with plastic eggs too.

And if all else fails, you can always wear them as a hair decoration.

It’s all about the Easter Spirit here at the Pond, ya’ll.

More fun than should be legal with plastic eggs and a ribbons!
Since the boys gave up hunting for eggs, mine have just sat gathering dust in the closet. I should do something fun and spring-y like you do.
