Mini low fat banana pudding pies

I had a quandry.

You see, the Cookie Stealing Bunny pleaded with me to make some cookies.

I had a craving for banana pudding.

And I promised my darling buddy Whitney I’d make her a pie.

So what is a duck to do?

dsc05536

Make mini low fat banana pudding pies, of course!

dsc05530

These pies are perfect.  Low-fat, tasty and perfect for a banana pudding craving.

dsc05535

And they’re topped with cookies.  Cookies, ya’ll.  A pie topped with cookies. Be still my heart.

The best part?  They take five minutes to make.  Literally.

dsc05526

First, you get your mini pie crusts.

dsc05527

Fill it with low-fat French vanilla pudding and chopped up bananas.

dsc055361

Top with low fat Nilla Wafers, and you’re done!

If you’re so inclined, you could also add whipped cream, caramel, chocolate syrup…or even Nutter Butters.  Yum.

dsc05537

Of course, you could always dump the pudding and wafers in a bowl.

But what fun is that?  Wouldn’t you rather have a mini low-fat banana pudding pie?

Even the Cookie Stealing Bunny likes this pie.

And that’s a solid recommendation.

Stay tuned, Invisible Friends!  We have a new Twirl tommorow and a fun craft Saturday!  And Sunday, a new creative woman’s post!  Stay tuned!

How adorable are those! I will admit they remind me of a ladybug, and that’s probably because I collect ladybugs and as such tend to see them in everything lol. I love the mini-pie idea! I think perhaps I’ll try them for dessert…and use pink pudding (maybe blend with strawberries?) and then top with oreo halves to get my ladybug pie! You’ve inspired me, I love it! :D
