Mini low fat banana pudding pies

I had a quandry.
You see, the Cookie Stealing Bunny pleaded with me to make some cookies.
I had a craving for banana pudding.
And I promised my darling buddy Whitney I’d make her a pie.
So what is a duck to do?

Make mini low fat banana pudding pies, of course!

These pies are perfect. Low-fat, tasty and perfect for a banana pudding craving.

And they’re topped with cookies. Cookies, ya’ll. A pie topped with cookies. Be still my heart.
The best part? They take five minutes to make. Literally.

First, you get your mini pie crusts.

Fill it with low-fat French vanilla pudding and chopped up bananas.

Top with low fat Nilla Wafers, and you’re done!
If you’re so inclined, you could also add whipped cream, caramel, chocolate syrup…or even Nutter Butters. Yum.

Of course, you could always dump the pudding and wafers in a bowl.

But what fun is that? Wouldn’t you rather have a mini low-fat banana pudding pie?

Even the Cookie Stealing Bunny likes this pie.
And that’s a solid recommendation.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a new Twirl tommorow and a fun craft Saturday! And Sunday, a new creative woman’s post! Stay tuned!

I’ve been freaking out over what to make for dessert Easter Sunday since it doesn’t look like my oven will be operational by then and lo and behold, you answered my quandry! Thank you Miranda!

One day I will learn to not read your posts when cut off from pie possibilities. Oh the pain!
April 9th, 2009 at 5:35 am
mm! i think i would give into the cookie stealing bunny’s every wish and desire! but don’t tell him that, though – don’t want him getting cocky about it!
April 9th, 2009 at 5:49 am
yum in deed! i’m glad the bunny liked the pie, too
April 9th, 2009 at 5:54 am
That’s one happy bunny. But I suspect anyone who tasted the pie was happy – big time.
April 9th, 2009 at 6:02 am

April 9th, 2009 at 6:32 am
Ohh, thank you for the low fat pie
April 9th, 2009 at 6:41 am
SQUEAL OF DELIGHT! I’d have never ever thought to polkadot the top of a pie with Nilla wafers. See…that’s what you are the queen Princess of all ducks.
(And…THANK YOU, again for featuring me Sunday. So many nice readers came over to say hello. Bless You!)

These look adorable!!!! My hubs loves banana pudding. Hey, I have a question regarding your header design. I need someone to bring to life an idea I have for my cooking courses website and it’s cartoonish like yours. Did someone do that for you from an idea you had? Thanks!!!!!
April 9th, 2009 at 7:23 am
I am loving this idea! I am going to do this for our Easter brunch! Thank you for the inspiration! I love the polka dot look!
April 9th, 2009 at 7:24 am
Those are adorable! I might make them for the kids’ Easter dessert. (With a few extra of course!)
April 9th, 2009 at 7:41 am

Now that is actually within the realm of my capabilities!
April 9th, 2009 at 11:06 am

April 9th, 2009 at 11:55 am
Hey there. I didn’t have your email address so please, her contact info would be great. Although, I did click on her ad on your blog and on hers it says Comissions are now closed. Not sure what that means. Thanks!!!!

April 9th, 2009 at 1:43 pm
I’ve been having such a stressful day and this post is just what I needed to bring a smile to my face! Your optimistic, upbeat attitude is contagious — thank you for doing what you do!
April 9th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
Low-fat, big on fat, balanced fat, I care not, just give me something good to eat~
I so love that little bunny picture.
Yup, ok, leaving once AGAIN feeling hungry and in the mood for a snack.

April 9th, 2009 at 2:54 pm
I want to hug the cookie stealing bunny!
I will also be needing two mini low fat banana puddings.. one for each hand!
April 9th, 2009 at 3:22 pm
I love the little mini-pies! They are so cute! What a great idea to put cookies on top! YUMMMMYY!
April 9th, 2009 at 3:57 pm
LOVE the bunny-too funny! loved that you stopped by. I enjoyed looking around your “place” too. My dream is to be published someday too! so from one writer to another- good luck!! I’ll be back around!
April 9th, 2009 at 4:07 pm
How adorable are those! I will admit they remind me of a ladybug, and that’s probably because I collect ladybugs and as such tend to see them in everything lol. I love the mini-pie idea! I think perhaps I’ll try them for dessert…and use pink pudding (maybe blend with strawberries?) and then top with oreo halves to get my ladybug pie! You’ve inspired me, I love it!
April 9th, 2009 at 5:27 pm
I love anything banana …. and did you say these are LOW FAT? WOW. Seriously?
April 9th, 2009 at 5:39 pm
that looks sooooo good! thanks for stoppinb y my blog!
April 9th, 2009 at 8:12 pm
YUMMY!! I wish I knew how to cook!! haha.
April 9th, 2009 at 8:46 pm
Thay look delightful. I’m allergic to bananas, but I guess I could leave those out and just have custard pies. Yum!
April 9th, 2009 at 8:48 pm
What could be cuter…a little tiny pie! I love it. And it’s a great idea too cause I big bowl of banana pudding always gets all mushy before it’s gone. This way, no waste!
April 9th, 2009 at 9:48 pm
Looks good! I’ll have to try it…you definitely get me motivated to break out of my, “I Hate to cook,” shell.
April 9th, 2009 at 10:59 pm
Hi Duckie! Right up my alley – the low fat version! It looks delicious! I have been trying to be so good this week. But tonight I went to my friend’s birthday party and ate a humongous piece of cake…
I will have to make some of those pies! Thanks Duckie! Say hi to Bitty and Bear for me!
XOXO

Oh my, how I wish I could get the low fat pudding mixes and nilla wafers etc. over here. No such animal. I know . . . this country is crazy! They don’t know what pudding is. All they have is custard, which I suppose is somewhat similar, but just not the same. I’ll have to get you to make this for me if I ever get to visit the pond! XXOO
April 11th, 2009 at 10:43 am
