A Tribute to Mom
Today, Invisible Friends, is a grand day.
It’s the Blond Duck’s Mom’s birthday. You can call her Mama Duck.
Now, the Blond Duck was going to say a few kind words, but I pitched a fit. In the most Queenly way possible, of course. After all, who better to give a tribute to such a momentous occasion than the Queen herself?
In fact, Mama Duck actually made me my first crown. Sniff. Ahh, memories.
See, one of the reasons I like Mama Duck so much is she treats me just the way I want to be: spoiled rotton.
She holds me for hours…
Stares at me in adoration, complimenting me on my dainty stature and sparkling personality….
Gives us fabulous chicken treats every time she comes over….
And is a fabulous babysitter. We stay up all night, eat all sorts of tasty things and tons of treats, snuggle in her lap for hours and get carried to exciting places like the mall and the Blond Duck’s sister’s apartment….
Mama Duck gives us full reign of her kitchen, even though she attempts to block us off from the whole house with barricades…
Never fear. I will conquer.
Happy Birthday, Mama Duck.
I look forward to celebrating with chicken treats and pie.
