All About Bear
Hello, Invisible Friends. It’s me, Bear.
And today it’s all about me.
Today, it’s not about Queen Bitty…
It’s not about Pumble the Bee (who is a boy, to aid to some folk’s confusion…)
And it’s not about Sandie the Stingray.
It’s about ME.
You see, I’m not the center of attention most of the time. I’m big (7.8 lbs, thank you very much), brown and wuffly; while Queen Bitty is petite (4 lbs.), demanding and LOUD.
I want to snuggle, while she wants to dominate.
I have a dolphin for a best friend, she rules the Pond.
I dance on my toes with joy, she stares in disdain.
So today, Invisible Friends, the focus is on me. I refuse to live in the shadow of my dictator sister any more.
And to celebrate, I’ll give you 8 things you never knew about me:
8 Things About Bear:
1) Like the Blond Duck, I adore food. I’ll eat anything–meat, bread, cheese, peas…whatever you please. My favorites, though, are barbecued meats like ribs, cheese and peanut butter.
I really love peanut butter.
2) When I was little, I had floppy ears and a short nose that was pure black. I looked like a wuffling little teddy bear, which is how I got my name.
3) I tend to drape myself over beds, only to fall out. Of course, I go back to sleep.
4) Every Friday when the Blond Duck does laundry, I steal her underwear and socks out of the pile. Giddy with my prize, I shake it to make sure it’s dead and prance throughout the house with it, flinging it wherever I please.
It’s not unusual to find the Blond Duck’s underwear in the pantry, under the couch, behind the entertainment center….
5) I have a slight shoe obsession. Not only can I untie your shoelaces for you, but I can chew the ends off quite successfully. And I can sniff out any bugs that happen to have crawled in the toes.
6) Speaking of bugs, I am a champion fly killer.
7) My favorite leisure activities include eating, chewing, playing with my dolphin, chewing and eating again. In fact, my favorite times of the day are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Along with my morning snack, my midnight snack, my 3 a.m. snack…
8) Every night, after the Blond Duck has gone to sleep, I sneak up on the bed and sleep by her feet or curl up in her stomach. Sometimes, she wakes up and puts me back to bed with Bitty.
Sometimes, she wakes up and lets me stay.

That is sooooo cute, sugar! When my daughter’s hubby died suddenly in May, she adopted a little chihuahua and just adores him now…along with her 3 cats. She buys him these ridiculous little outfits now and walks him 4 times a day! I must do a post on it.
Oh, I’ll send you the interview today! Life happens when I want to do other things sometimes, chick. I’m sure you understand this.
Oooooooh, your feet are adorable also. I have a podiatrist appt. today in about 2 hours so have to go “freshen” up th’ foot for him to look at…..sigh……….

Oh my goodness! Bear is adorable. Kitten Bitten likes to steal laundry too. Poor Mr.Nutmeg Nanny has a lot of missing socks because of bitten.

Oh little big bear, you are so handsome! It’s so nice to get to know you better. I’ve always pegged you as the strong, yet silent type. Please tell Duckie that I owe her several posts which I will duly get to when I return home next week. (By the way, when I first saw Pumble the Bee, I thought that black band across his middle was a scarf or something tying him to the chair. Optical allusion!) Looking forward to seeing more posts about Big Boy Bear!

The puzlze box only works if you work out all the puzlzes.One bit on each page makes her speech bubble appear with a answer box and it stays the same for the whole bit, until you have to choose a symbol.Remember to use the black light only in the dark and the magnifing glass as well on each page to get extra clues/ puzlze answers.
