Critter Confessions: the Ladybug of the LFB

Hello, Invisible Friends. I’m Ladybug from the Land of the Flowered Bed.

You may recognize me from the new book that’s out.
But the truth is, I’m here because I have a confession.
A terrible admission.
A dark secret off my polka dotted soul.
A black truth.
A scandelous secret.

And even worse, it has to do with my love, Pumble the Bee, also from the Land of the Flowered Bed.
I’m so ashamed.
A true lady shouldn’t feel this way.
It’s so unsophisticated, so inappropriate.
It’s completely ridiculous.

Can I trust you friends? Truly?

Ok, here goes: When Pumble kisses me, I get tingles in my toes.
My lips hum, my heart pounds…
My entire world turns upside down.

My stomach flutters,
My wings beat,
And for a brief moment, I’m lifted completely off my feet.
I know it’s silly for a lady to feel this way…
I should be more worldly, less giddy….I mean, I’m a ladybug. I was raised to be proper.
But around him, I just can’t help myself.

And when he makes me cookies….
Oh, Invisible Friends….I’m shameless.
I really am.
I’ve got the love bug.

And for those of you in the mood for Christmas, check out my book of Christmas tales! From stories of Priscilla Piper, the little girl who demands Santa give her a normal name to hilarious results and Rosalita, a woman who falls in love with a man trapped in a nativity scene; to a woman haunted by her grandmother’s fruitcake and Rex, a dog who just wants a bone for Christmas–but is stuck with a vegetarian family. Readers from 8 to 80 will love these tales! The book is available on Amazon or here!
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a week full of whimsical fun coming up!
