Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies
What’s better than an oatmeal cookie with peanut butter chips?
Oatmeal cookies with peanut butter chips and peanut butter in the batter.
Have I mentioned my love of peanut butter?
I love peanut butter.
I love cookies.
Therefore…
I love these cookies.
And so will you.
Trust me.
Peanut Butter Oatmeal Rounds from Better Homes and Garden Cookbook
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup peanut butter chips, chocolate chips or chopped peanuts (I used a full bag of peanut butter chips, but I’m addicted)
1) In a large mixing bowl beat butter and peanut butter with electric mixer on medium for about 30 seconds or until combined. Add sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and baking powder. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Beat in egg and vanilla until combined. Beat in as much flour as you can and stir in the rest. Stir in the rolled oats and chips/ nuts.
2) Drop dough by rounded tsp. 2 inches apart on a ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to rack and let cool.

If you also add in some chunked chocolates pieces for me…I’ll devour those cookies in no time at all. I do enjoy peanut butter…however, in moderation is where I’m at ;o) Soon I’ll be sharing a frozen pie dessert I have a feeling you’ll like very much ;o) It’s got your favourite in it too!

I bought my daughter that cookbook for Christmas, or maybe Santa did. I get confused. I’ll have to try peanut butter oatmeal cookies. But my no bake cookies have oatmeal and peanut butter, and they are wonderful! Not as pretty as yours, but no one’s perfect, right?
