Ode to sprinkles,
And how I love thee,
For you make my life,
Full of tasty pretty.
Oh sprinkles,
What joy you bring to my life,
As a colorful culinary confection,
You’re an absolute delight.
Some say you’re worthless,
A waste of calories,
but that’s nothing but crazy talk.
Without you, sprinkles,
ice cream would be drab, doughnuts would be sad and cake would taste like chalk.
When you think about it,
Is there any point to cake without sprinkles?
A big slab of white, not a sprinkle in sight,
Well, there’s just no appeal.
Oh, sprinkles,
You’re a celebration of life,
A dash of whimsy and ordinary
A burst of culinary confetti!
Whether it’s donuts or cupcakes,
Cookies or cake,
Ice cream or frozen yogurt,
Sprinkles make it all better.
They give it a zest, a zing,
Sparkle and shine,
Transforming even boring vanilla,
Into a rainbow explosion of extraordinary flavor,
alighting your tounge with possibilities,
That until now, existed only in your dreams.
Ode to sprinkles,

For without you,
My food would be utterly boring.

Your ice cream cone pic brings back memories of going to carvel with my mom when I was little. How I loved rainbow sprinkles. I am feeling a wave of nostalgia now and a wish to have some right now!

We have an item on our kids menu at work called rainbow cakes. It’s pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles. I think you’d love ‘em!
