Burger Bliss and a Party
As the Grill Queen, it’s no secret I like burgers.
I don’t just like them. I LOVE them. Adore them. Fantasize about them. Drool over them.
I love all burgers. Beef, turkey, black bean, salmon, bison…. (well, I’ve never tried the last two but I’m sure I would!)
And if it’s drenched in barbecue sauce and topped with melted cheddar cheese, you know I’ll adore it.
But there are too many delicious burgers out there to ignore. And in celebration of summer, inspired by my buddy Reeni’s previous Burger Clubs, I decided we should have a party.
A Burger Party on Labor Day!
So send me your best burgers and sides, and I’ll have a giant feast waiting for your hungry eyes on Labor Day morning!
Meanwhile, I’ve got to get to cooking…I mean grilling. Five new Pond burgers shall be featured! Along with fabulous dips and sides…pass the guacamole, won’t you?

I love burgers too…..but I have never heard of a black bean burger.

But I also love my mom’s recipe which is just a pound of beef with a pack of lipton onion soup (dried packet) mixed together. Its what i grew up on.

my favorite is the go-to beef burger, although i do have to say that i have fallen in love with lamb burgers. they are simply delicious! i’ll also eat chicken burgers, veggie burgers, pretty much anything in burger form!

I love burgers… I just made some the other night because I was craving them. The best I have made are ones that are filled with a pocket of blue cheese crumbles! Yum! I mix a packet of onion soup mix in with the meat so it isn’t bland. I sometimes even mix in shredded zucchini which keeps them moist.

I like mine traditional – melted cheese, toasted bun. MMMMM I also like bleu cheese burgers. Can’t wait to hear what you come up with.

We’ve been eating these burgers lately with cheddar and bacon in them. Yum! I think I liked grilled vegetables the best though!

I just love a big, fat beef burger – about a half pound, with no seasonings, a little dijon mustard, a little ketchup, a nice roll. That’s it: I’ll bring the homemade rolls. Thor wants 3. He’ll share with Bitty, because he’s a really nice boy.

I too love burgers. My favorites are either teriyaki and pineapple or BBQ with turkey bacon. Like you, I like both meat and turkey burgers.

Yum, your burgers look delicious! Great idea for a party, Blonde Duck. My favorite side is probably one of the simplest — we cut home-grown tomatoes in half, put them on the grill, cut side up, and sprinkle each with a mixture of half Parmesan cheese and half chopped fresh basil. Outstanding!

diehard member of the burger fan club here, for sure. sweet potato fries aren’t required, but they sure are a nice addition–you can even grill them, too!
