Popcorn Candy balls
Popcorn and candy corn…
Rolled into one….
Sticky, gooey, crunchy, salty, delicious ball of goodness.
Mix ‘em up, stir ‘em up, roll them out…
Then gobble them up!
Perfect for Halloween goblins and ghouls…
Don’t you want a popcorn ball or two?
Popcorn Candy Balls
1 bag popped popcorn
1 to 1 and 1/2 cup candy corn
1 10 oz.bag mini marshmallows
1/4 stick of butter (or 1/2 if you like it really buttery)
Non-stick spray
Coat inside of pot and spatula with non-stick spray while butter is melting on stove. Melt marshmallows and stir until mixed with butter. Add popcorn (careful not to add kernels!) and candy corn. Take pot off stove and stir until mixed. Spread on pan lined with greased parchment paper. Let it cool 1-2 minutes then roll into balls on parchment paper. Let cool 15-20 minutes, then roll in saran wrap.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have another Friday five and Blue Eyes to conclude Halloween week in the Pond!

I love popcorn balls! Just yesterday, I asked my aunt for the recipe she and I made when I was a kid. Thank you for posting this. It’s funny I remember it like it was yesterday and she didn’t recall we had ever made them together at all. Just goes to show how a small geture can mean so much to someone else.
Thanks again for posting this.

Love that idea. I always do caramel corn, but the mallows is more my flavor, and candy corn delish.

I loved popcorn balls as a kid. Adding candy corn only makes them better.

Popcorn balls are one of those great snacks you eat all of the time as a kid (parties, Halloween, Girl Scouts) but never get a chance to eat enough of as an adult!

What bliss – popcorn and marshmallows and candy corn! Sadly, I can’t get candy corn over here but it will probably taste good with just marshmallows too…

These look so delicious and fun! I’m a big fan of marshmallows, so any recipe that incorporates them is a winner in my book!

Mmmm. Those look good right now. I think yours must taste great. Not all popcorn calls are created equal, but I’d try yours any day. I’m telling you, you need to do a recipe book!

In college one of my friends and I made popcorn balls for halloween… ours got a little too hard though. Yours look absolutely wonderful!
