Autumn Oatmeal Cookies
For a perfect autumn treat…
For something delicious and fun to eat…
Something for crisp fall days and chilly fall nights…
An afternoon snack or an after dinner delight…
Grab an oatmeal autumn cookie with a pumpkin topping…
Or two or three–no one is looking.
Autumn Oatmeal Cookies
Simply use your favorite oatmeal raisin cookie recipe (I recommend Quaker) and substitute 3/4 to 1 cup of white chocolate chips for raisins. After baking the cookies, let cool for two minutes before pressing candy pumpkin in center. Let cool for ten more minutes before dishing out.
Then you’ll probably want to make another batch. They don’t last long.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! A new Friday Five tomorrow!

I don’t know why, but those pumpkins in the candy corn ‘autumn mix’ taste EVEN BETTER than regular candy corn.
Oatmeal is such a great ‘cold weather’ food, I agree it often gets forgotten in November because of all the pumpkin craziness (which I love as well).

So cute with the little pumpkin. Oatmeal cookies were always a childhood favourite of mine (but not the raisins, I used to pick those out).

Never been an oatmeal cookie fan, but you have vastly improved them by removing raisins and adding the cute little pumkins on top. I will be happy to be a taste tester.
