For 2012, the creatures in the Pond have these magical wishes…
“For 2012, I want to drive on the Autobahn. In a Porsche. And see the VW and BMW Factory.”
“As Queen of the Pond, this year I demand a personal carrier. Overalls optional. Why should I walk?
Being carried is much more delightful.”
“My goal this year is to chew or bury the scale so the Blond Duck quits taking me on walks.
And cheese. I want to eat more cheese.”
“I want to bring whimsy and joy to the Pond and write the best stories I can.”

It’s nice to know that my chihuahua isn’t the only miniature dog with a mighty appetite. People think: “oh, how much can she want to eat.” YOU HAVE NO IDEA! I seriously think she would eat an entire rotisserie chicken if I let her.

Duckie, I think everyone in the pond will successfully achieve their resolutions this year, especially you! It is my resolution to relax and learn how to be calmer. I thought about all of the resolutions I could possibly have, and this seemed to be the best for me. So, I look forward to your wonderful, whimsical stories.

Your dogs are sooo cute! You have no idea how badly I want a Chihuahua but I think that my spoiled brat does not like the idea of another family member. I don’t make resolutions though, just goals
