Crazy Cookies
You’ll think I’m crazy.
You’ll think I’ve gone mad.
You’ll think I’ve crossed over to the dark side.
But I haven’t.
I just like cookies.
Cookies with peanut butter.
Cookies with white chocolate chips.
And these peanut butter banana chocolate chip cookies are the best I’ve inhaled yet.
And for a carnivore to be loving a vegetarain cookie recipe…
You know it’s delicious.
Oatmeal Banana Peanut Butter Cookies
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 small bananas, mashed
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350. Combine all the ingredients in a big mixing bowl. (The dough will be mushy but don’t worry – they will bake into brownie-like cookies.) Make golf ball sized rounds and place evenly on a cookie sheet Bake for 15 minutes. Let the cookies cool completely and enjoy!
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a new Friday Five tomorrow!

Hahaha I love you. But now…you’ve got me craving cookies. Vegetarian style.
February 23rd, 2012 at 4:10 am
Well, most desserts are vegetarian, provided they don’t contain gelatin or bacon! I see what you mean, though–these would be vegan, if you used vegan chocolate chips or left the white chocolate chips out! If you used gluten-free oats, they could also be gluten-free!
