Apple Pie Bars
There is no better dessert than apple pie.
There is nothing more deletable than a crumbly butter laced strudel topping, soft cinnamon spiced apples and a thick crust to scoop it all up with.
But in a house of two, pies are special treats.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t want pie every weekend. Or daily.
Inspired by my Invisible Friend Marjie, this are quick, easy and delicious.
And almost better than pie.
The only changes I made to her recipe were to add 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg.
Let’s just say, they didn’t last long here either.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! A new Friday Five mañana!

I’m so glad you enjoyed them! I’ll bet you can guess how many gazillion times I’ve been asked to make these again! I should have added nutmeg. Maybe next time.

Apple pie is fabulous!
I hope to take a trip to the mountains on Sunday, if the weather is fine. In these days the snow is melting and it’s fascinating to see how the ski runs are a mixture of snow and meadow in the mild Spring climate!
Happy weekend!
