Mission Fluffy White Rolls– Accomplished!

Posted on March 1st, 2012 in Food, Stories

I’ve been a woman on a mission.

There’s been triumphs.

There’s been failures.

I’ve scoured cookbooks.

I’ve nagged friends.  I’ve pleaded for recipes and tips.  I’ve done the delicious bread dance in my kitchen.

Queen Bitty wasn’t amused.

But this time…I’ve done it.

They’re light.

Soft and fluffy as a cloud.

We’re talking SOFT.  FLUFFY.

And fluffy rolls means a happy Ben.

A happy Ben means a happy duckie.

Try them.  Then you can be happy too.

Oh yum! Wish these were on my diet plan. Maybe I should count myself lucky I don’t have a bread machine. :-) I made a very nice roll recipe for Thanksgiving two or three years ago. I think I have a link on my blog somewhere.

Nice job. I tend to stick to biscuits of all sorts as rolls just never come out. I tried the rising in the oven a month or so ago and they par cooked, no way to work with the dough after that. I do have a bread machine and love it!!

Okay, so now that I finally got my Wii, it’s about time I get a bread machine. Kudos to you for sticking with it, Miranda. And, a pat on the back to Ben for being so deserving!
