Banana Bran Muffins
I’m only good at two things in life: writing stories and feeding people.
When I went to go see Mrs. McGill a month or so ago, she encouraged me to start painting. So I took up a class at the local community center.
And fell in love.
While my work is not going to win any awards or make me rich, I love it. It makes me feel giddy and free.
So when I went to see Mrs. McGill yesterday, I made these muffins to thank her.
To thank her for teaching me the importance of following what I love and what brings me joy.
Food is love.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! A new Friday Five mañana!

I’m such a believer in cultivating joy, even if it feels separate from our work or our main creative endeavors. Kudos.
