I’m Back!
I’m back!
After a week with my favorite in-laws at the beach, I’m rested and raring to go!
After flying in, Ben went to check the mail while I was cleaning the house. ”You got a box!” he bellowed.
“Ok, I’ll look at it later!” When one is elbow deep in toilet cleaning, one does not want to risk marring a box.
Ben, however, didn’t have that problem. Ten minutes later, I walked by his office to see this face.
And this.
Much to my delighted surprise, my blogging buddy Amanda Cobb had sent me a sussy from Krysten’s Blogger Besties Swap!
In her sweet card, Amanda wrote she tried to find whimsical things for me. My new little dragon agrees. He’s demanding a name, but has vetoed all my suggestions. Apparently, Sparkly isn’t a proper name for a dragon.
This glorious book and earrings…
A field notes book Ben ran off with (hence the maniacal grin) and this darling scarf that Bear ran off with (and I rescued after he rolled on it a time or two.) Don’t worry, Amanda. It’s safe out of his reach.
It was the perfect way to return to reality. Now I can’t wait to find fabulous goodies to send Amanda…. Maybe I can even deliver them in person. After all, she lives in my hometown only an hour away….

It’s nice coming home to a suprise! I’m waiting for a package, but my package isn’t as exciting.. it’s software that I need for a class that I’ll be taking. I guess it’s exciting that I’m going back to school, though!
