Pumpkin Spice Cake
Posted on October 11th, 2012 in Stories
My mom makes the best cakes.
Not only are they pretty…
But it’s really tasty.
Even for someone who doesn’t like cake.
I ate it.
A lot of it.
Especially the homemade cream cheese icing. I could have eaten buckets. And everyone knows birthday cake is the best cake.
But even if you don’t use purple icing and draw a haunted house, it’s a superb fall cake.
Stay tuned, Invisible Friends! We have a new Iris mañana!

Oh, I’m with you on the cream cheese frosting. I don’t like cake all that much, but smothered in cc frosting, anything tastes good. I love this cake. So cute!!

Birthday cakes are the best. Mine always feature bust-a-gut-rich buttercream frosting. Happy Thursday, Duckie!

Your mom is very talented. That’s a gorgeous looking cake. I just love how she decorated it – just adorable. And I love the sound of pumpkin spice cake – we can’t buy tinned pumpkin here and pumpkin isn’t an ingredient we cook sweet things with but I’m loving all the recipes that use pumpkin in thousands of different ways, all coming from the US xx

That cake is too cute. We celebrated The Boy’s birthday last night with fabulous football cake, but it has his name on it so I can’t post a picture!
