Christmas Sussy

The only thing better than a Christmas painting…

Is Christmas cookies from a friend.

As part of the SITS Thanksgiving cookie swap, I got a late surprise from my buddy Miranda at Our Nesting Place!  (That’s right, we’re both named Miranda.  Kismet.)   She sent me some brown sugar scrub that I hid in the guest bathroom away from husband hands and some delicious molasses cookies.  I shipped her the white ranger cookies  that I also made for the art show.  Apparently, they’re so popular not only did they not last the whole art show, but the UPS woman confessed that she stole some of Miranda’s cookies and asked me to bring her some more (with the recipe.)

The Hawaiian Miranda, however, was smart and packaged up her cookies so the postmen couldn’t break in.  I took them to the art show and they were inhaled.  The perfect Christmas treat!

There’s nothing like Christmas cookies. They’re much tastier than cards.

Stay tuned, Invisible Friends!  We have a new Christmas story tomorrow!
