Many happy returns

I know you don’t like attention.
You don’t like to be told how great you are, how sweet you are, how wonderful you are.
You don’t want a party or a big to-do. You don’t want a fuss or streamers or even a balloon.
So I won’t do any of that….(though balloons are lots of fun…)
Instead I’ll just wish you happy birthday and many happy returns…
And tell you I love you.
