Five Things

Five Things This Friday

1) Some happy little duckie just got this book in the mail.  Expect nothing to be done for four hours.

2) One of the little girls I teach hates writing but loves sea creatures.  Tuesday, we wrote a story about her turtle, Mrs. Wurtle, usurping a sea horse who dared to steal her favorite swimming spot.

3)  I hired a writing coach from Yellow Bird Editors.birds-sillhouette_with-logo_newfont3You’ll see me on the New York Times Best Sellers list next year.

4) I also get a new art teacher next month, so expect lots of new craziness!

5)  I just had the most brilliant idea: sprinkle cookie waffles.

Now I just need a recipe.

Stay tuned, Invisible Friends!  US Again should be done this weekend!

So lovely to hear about that little girl, I think the key to these things is to inspire them, to find out what interests them and get them writing/reading about it.
